About the Project

The project “The Person in Relation and within the Heritage of Faith: An Interdisciplinary Approach” (ODNOSI) aims to develop a conceptually coherent model of the person that integrates philosophical and theological reflection with the study of concrete forms of spiritual and cultural heritage. The project is based on the premise that personal identity is formed through relationships with others, the community, and the Transcendent, and that these relationships are also embedded in conscience, holiness, and liturgical memory.

Project Objective
To develop an interdisciplinary and conceptually coherent model of the person that integrates philosophical-anthropological and theological reflection with the study of concrete forms of spiritual and cultural heritage.

Specific Objectives of the Work Packages
Work Package 1: to develop a theoretical and practically applicable model of the person as a relational, free, and responsible being, formed within a network of relationships with others, the community, and the Transcendent through dialogue between the philosophy of relation, the anthropology of virtue, biblical exegesis, and educational practice.
Work Package 2: to examine how the person becomes a bearer of spiritual heritage through conscience, holiness, and liturgical memory, and how these elements are transmitted, interpreted, and witnessed in the contemporary sociocultural context, drawing on theological reflection, historical analysis, and the digital processing of sources.
Innovation
The project introduces an integrated interdisciplinary approach that brings together philosophy, theology, historical analysis, pedagogy, and the digital humanities within a unified research framework. Its innovative character lies in connecting theoretical reflection with concrete source materials, particularly through the digital processing of manuscript heritage, including scanning, transcription, metadata structuring, and the development of a searchable database. In this way, the project simultaneously develops a theoretical model of the person and enables the contemporary valorisation and accessibility of spiritual and cultural heritage in accordance with the principles of open science
