As part of the ODNOSI project (IP-UNIST-20), the Catholic Faculty of Theology, University of Split, is organising the international scientific symposium “Integral Development of Youth in a Contemporary Educational Context: Challenges, Perspectives and Spiritual Accompaniment.”

The symposium is being organised in cooperation with the University of Cologne, the Theological-Catechetical Institute of the University of Mostar, and Goethe University Frankfurt.

The central theme of the symposium is the integral development of young people in the contemporary educational context, with particular emphasis on the relationship between the Christian anthropological tradition and the challenges of the digital age. During three thematic sessions, Croatian and international experts will explore issues related to education, ethics, religious formation and the spiritual accompaniment of young people, as well as the influence of contemporary technologies on their formation and development.

The presentations will address topics including moral exemplars in education, religion and culture, youth mental health, digital ethics and artificial intelligence, as well as religious identity and value orientations.

We invite all interested participants to attend the symposium and contribute to the discussion on key issues concerning the education and formation of young people in contemporary society.
